Things can get pretty hectic in January when the Tamworth Country Music Festival hits town.
The last thing you want to worry about is which roads are closed or what's the best way to get around.
Well, don't worry. We've put together this handy little guide to help ease the stress.
The easiest way to get around
Road closures make Peel Street a haven for pedestrians, but for those that drive you might want to look at alternative parking and transport options to get around town. We've also added the pubs with shuttle buses to help you grab a cold one as quick as possible after a long day of festival fun.
The majority of hotels and motels in town will tell you that there's no vacancy. Don't give up hope. A quick ring around to some of Tamworth's accommodation options might reveal a last-minute cancellation.
A place to camp
For those that prefer a swag under the stars, there's a number of options for campers around town and some of it is free. Check out our list of places to park up for the night.
Avoid the U-turns and dead ends, here's exactly what roads will be closed for the duration of Tamworth Country Music Festival.
Things to do with the family
Bringing the kids with you to TCMF? Here's some ideas to entertain them while you're in Tamworth. You might also want to check out the Golden Guitar tourist attraction, which is a must-see if you're in Tamworth.
Keeping cool at a swimming pool
It's going to be hot again this year and a dip in the pool will be one of the best ways to keep cool. Here is a list of pools in and around Tamworth.
Where to get those all important cowboy hats
The official Toyota straw hats have become a much loved staple for many at TCMF.
Locals are able to grab theirs first with a limited number of hats available from Ray Walsh House from January 10.
Visitors will have to wait until the festival starts. When it does, visitors can buy one of the legendary hats at the Toyota Zone at 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm every day of the festival.
It costs $2 per hat which goes to Rural Aid

Water restrictions are in place in and around Tamworth and vary between areas.
