But there are fans, icy poles and now the Festival of Small Halls Australia.
The best folks and contemporary acoustic artists will hit the road for the summer to visit halls in communities all over the country.
Currabubula will feature Scottish import Siobhan Miller, Bellingen's Jack Carty and Werris Creek's Joel McKay.

Community member Veronica Filby invited the festival to come to the small town.
"Our location was a big draw card for us, the hall before us is Orange," she said.
"The hall was built in 1912 and it's a War Memorial Hall to recognise the soldiers that fought in WWI and WWII," she said.
"Since it's been built, it's been used back in the day for country balls and bush dances. It's been a major part of the Red Cross Art Show for 40 years.
"We want to improve it and add some things to it, we'd love to see the revival of it."
Ms Filby said a number of tickets had already sold and because the end of January was usually quiet in town, "it's a chance to inject more money into the economy".
"We want families to get together with neighbours and enjoy a night away from stresses, and have visitors inject money into businesses and see how wonderful we are," she said.
The event will raise funds for the Rural Fire Service NSW, Currabubula Pony Club and Currabubula Advisory Group.
- The show is on January 27 from 6:30pm.
