Carinya Christian School
It has been a busy end of year at Carinya Christian School with a Year 4 celebration sleepover and trip to Tamworth, a pancake breakfast for prep students and families, and also the end of year Thanksgiving Concert.
Year 4 students had a Celebration Sleepover to recognise their completion of junior school and move to middle school next year. Students travelled to Scully Park Pool in Tamworth to have fun on the waterslide.
On returning to Gunnedah, a pizza dinner was served, followed by a movie and popcorn. Students then had a sleepover at the school in the classrooms, before breakfast and games the next day.

Prep students and their families celebrated the end of their prep program, too. They enjoyed a pancake breakfast at the school and then travelled to the Gunnedah pool to play in the splash park.
To conclude the year, all students at Carinya Christian School participated in Thanksgiving Concerts. It was an opportunity for the school to come together and celebrate a wonderful year of learning.
During the concert, students showcased their diverse learning for the year with plays, singing, a brass band and recorder group. The concert also celebrated the end of junior school for year 4 and primary school for year 6.
It was a great night, enabling students to serve the school community through their performances.
Gunnedah Public School
Gunnedah Public School hosted a morning tea for valued volunteers on Monday.
Thank you to everyone who supports the school and its students. The children love seeing their family members here, participating and contributing towards their school and their learning.
