Business Connect's Busting the Drought event will help locals to start up their dream business, change things up to become more profitable, and to start selling products and services online.
Business adviser Derek Tink will run the workshop on Wednesday, December 11, and aims to get "people moving in the right direction sooner rather than later, so they can get the right opportunities".
"We'll be talking about opportunities in the digital space, hashtag campaigns [and] inviting businesses to speak so they can explain, firsthand, the benefits," Mr Tink said.

Along with topics such as the start-up economy, elevator pitches and where to get support and advice, the Gunnedah event is expected to have similar talking points as a breakfast held this week in Tamworth.
Owners there shared their challenges and successes, and tips on how to capitalise on the current shop-rural campaigns.
"I'm passionate about this region and, yes, there are some challenges around, but it's about focusing on those issues versus focusing on opportunities," Mr Tink said.
"It is challenging at the moment - you do hear a lot of negativity - but there are things you can influence versus things you can't.
"So it's just good to hear people getting results and gaining traction; it's good to see people sharing that ... wanting to put back into the community."
The event will be held at Gunnedah Services and Bowling Club from 12.30pm-5pm. Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased through Eventbrite.
