About 3.10pm on Wednesday afternoon, two young boys were walking home along George Street when they were approached by an unknown man.
It is alleged the man invited the boys back to his house but they declined and returned home.

Oxley Police District officers were notified and began inquiries.
The man was described as being Caucasian in appearance, 50-60 years old, of a thin build, approximately 180-185cm tall, with a bald head and missing top front teeth.
He was last seen wearing a light coloured t-shirt and dark coloured shorts and had a large black dog.
Anyone with information about this matter, including CCTV or dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident, should contact Gunnedah Police Station on 6742 9099.
Investigations are underway.
