Parkes MP Mark Coulton said the government was committed to supporting athletes across the electorate.
"We have a lot of sporting talent here in the Parkes electorate," Mr Coulton said.
"These grants go a long way to alleviate the financial strain some families and athletes feel when selected for a significant sporting event.
"Congratulations to this wonderful cohort of successful young athletes, who are kicking goals in their sporting endeavours."
Mr Coulton said he would encourage more athletes in need of a helping hand to apply for their share of the funding.
"I urge other young sportspeople to apply for a local sporting champions grant," he said.
"Round three applications are now open and close on December 31."
- The number of local sporting champions grants is limited, and athletes, coaches and officials must apply for the financial support ahead of their event.
