A Gunnedah Shire Council spokesperson said the council was "looking forward to seeing it in use".
"This is a great family park with lots of open space to play. We will be installing a shade sail over the playground in the new year to complete the project," the spokesperson said.
Locals were asked to vote on the design of the playground this year, and chose this particular option.
It was installed as part of the council's playground renewal project.
