A 62-year-old Gunnedah man has been charged after police found drugs in his car on Friday afternoon.

Officers from the Oxley Police District stopped the man in his Holden Colorado for a random breath test on Booloocooroo Road at about 1.30pm, where he returned a positive reading.
The car was searched by officers who then located more than 450g of cannabis, along with methamphetamine, cash and other prohibited drugs.

The man was arrested and taken to Gunnedah Police Station where he was charged with two counts of supply prohibited drug less than indictable, four counts of possess prohibited drug, and deal with property proceeds of crime.
He was granted conditional bail and will appear at Gunnedah Local Court in December.
