Today, the Bureau of Meterology says there is 70 per cent of showers during the afternoon and early evening in Gunnedah.
There is also a chance of a thunderstorm, and gusty winds of 25-40km/h are expected during the afternoon and early evening.

The sun will return on Wednesday and Thursday and temperatures in the early to mid 30s are expected.
Storms will threaten again on Friday and Saturday. On those days, there is a 30-40 per cent chance of showers and up to 8mm of rain.
On the Liverpool Plains, there is 30 per cent chance of up to 5mm on Saturday and a 90 per cent chance of up to 10mm on Saturday.
Rain fell across the region at the weekend, some towns receiving as little as 6mm and other areas recording almost 50mm.
In Curlewis, 30mm was recorded and Gunnedah got about 10mm.
Blackville recorded 49mm of rain and over Saturday and Sunday, different parts of Breeza recorded between 20mm and 43mm of rain.
Close-by, Werris Creek received 16mm.
