Co-owner Sarah McCann said she had problems with the store's phone for about a week, which meant customers were unable to phone through their orders.
"We lost a lot of money because there's some people that would come into the shop and said 'oh I thought you guys were closed or so busy you couldn't take the order'," she said.
"If one person is coming in and saying that how many are doing the same thing?"

Ms McCann said Telstra support originally offered a diversion from the store's landline phone to her mobile but that "wasn't feasible".
"I'm not here all the time and didn't want it ringing at all times of the day," she said.
Luckily, a staff member at Telstra Gunnedah "was great" and gave Ms McCann a phone to loan and had the calls diverted to it.
Now, the co-owner is trying to get reimbursement but was unhappy with the $3.50 per day she was offered.
"I told [Telstra support] it was a joke ... it didn't even cover my girls sitting on the phone to them for hours and hours," she said.
"They said 'that's the going rate' and I'm like 'I'm not sure how you can justify that being the going rate when I rely heavily on my phone line'."
Despite the issues, the takeaway shop has already had great success, averaging 130 burgers per day.
