Kelly Watson and David Fitzsimmons put in stellar performances during the event, which featured some of the state's best athletes.
Watson finished fourth in the women's mid-distance race, which included a 2000 metre swim, 60 kilometre bike ride and a 15 kilometre run.

The race was one of three separate distance races on the day and had 59 competitors cross the finish line.
She also finished first in her 35-39 age group.
Meanwhile, Fitzsimmons finished 12th overall in the men's competition.
The experienced athlete also claimed a first-place finish in his 50-54 age group in the standard distance race.
The pair will now turn their attention to other events across the state.
