Originally set down for this Saturday night, the Night of Legends event would have featured some of the country's most accomplished speedway drivers.
However, due to the ongoing threat of bushfires and road closures, the event has been postponed until further notice.

Event promoter Barry Towers remained adamant the event was "postponed and not cancelled".
"It is a bit disappointing to have to postpone this event because it was sure to be a ripper, but it is the right call given the circumstances," Towers said.
"We had drivers and crew members travelling in from all over the country, and with how many roads are closed, it was going to be difficult for them to get here.
"We didn't want to do it half-hearted and that's why we opted to postpone the event."
As well as Saturday's competition, Friday night's legends dinner at the Gunnedah Services Club has also been postponed.
"The dinner was set to be a really great night, as we were expecting 85 people from all over the country," Towers said.
"There were people coming from Western Australia and Queensland, so it's a bit of a shame.
"However, we are hoping to reschedule everything for a fortnight's time or in early December."
Towers said "a lot of hard work" had gone into preparing for Saturday's event.
"Personally, I will be providing four of the six cars that will be used in the event," he said.
"There's been a lot of hard work getting the cars ready, so people can rest assured that this event will go ahead.
"At this stage, the weather looks like it will be perfect for the event in a fortnight's time.
"Either that or we will run it in early December because it will be a great show regardless of when it is."
Towers said he was confident a big crowd would turn out for the event.
"I know there are people coming from all over, but it would be good to see plenty of locals come along as well.
"It's going to be a cracking event for the whole family, so it would be great to see plenty of fans there.
"Hopefully we should have the details about the event's new date and time in the coming days."
