COURT House have opened their two-day account in emphatic style by defeating Mornington at Wolseley Oval on Saturday.

The stunning victory was set up by a dominant first innings with the ball, as Court House dismissed Mornington for just 44.
Sam Doubleday (4-21) was the pick of the bowlers, while Justin Carter (14) was the only Mornington player to reach double figures in their first innings.

In reply, Ben Hennessy (6-24) tried manfully to keep Mornington in the game, helping dismiss Court House for 85.
Doubleday (33 not out) was the only shining light in Court House's innings.
Mornington's fightback proved to be short lived because Court House starred in the second innings, dismissing the bottom-placed Mornington for just 64.
Court House were left with a short chase in the final innings, recording an outright victory by finishing at 1-24.
Meanwhile, Albion continued on from their positive first week by dominating their clash with Kookaburras at Kitchener Park.
Capitalising on their first innings total of 139, which was set up by Brad Jenkinson (90), Albion dismissed the reigning premiers for just 88.
Albion's top order began day two looking to extend the side's lead early in the day.
Enter new captain Brad Cady (82 not out) and Will Maggs (34), who put on a 65-run partnership for the opening wicket.
From there, James Mack (52 not out) guided his side into a position to declare at 2-194.
Ash White (4-25) then helped bowl Albion to a solid victory as Kookaburras were dismissed for 85.
Braithen Winsor (19) top scored for Kookaburras, following up his 5-27 in the first innings.
Mack praised the work of his skipper in helping set up Albion's victory.
"We were pretty lucky our top order really got going in both innings'," Mack told the Namoi Valley Independent.
"Last week it was Jenko [Jenkinson] and this week it was Brad. He's taken on the captaincy this year and it was really good to see him get a good score like that."
Mack also praised the batting effort of Maggs, who stepped into the openers role for the first time.
"Will batted really well," he said.
"I don't think he's had too many chances to open the batting and he made the most of this one.
"Our batting order changes from week to week, so it's good to see guys taking their chances in new positions."
Albion will now turn their attention to a clash with Mornington next weekend, while Kookaburras will clash with Court House.
