School P&C president Sheryl Martin said the funding allows all 45 students to go on the excursion.
"We are so excited to have won ... because it means we can keep our excursion costs down and ensure all our students are able to take part in the trip," she said.
"This in turn benefits our students and their families, especially those struggling financially as a result of the drought.
"Some of these kids have never seen snow before so the funding from the Greater Bank means every single one of them will now have the opportunity to experience the Mount Selwyn snowfields."
Greater Bank's regional manager Jennifer Smith said she knew the school's staff, students and parents worked hard to fundraise for activities so she was "delighted" it was successful in the funding.
Runners-up Gunnedah Pottery Club and Tamworth & District Campdraft Club will receive $1000 each.
November round
Voting is now open for the November funding round and Lake Keepit Sailing Club, Manilla Show Society and Old Boys Cricket Club Tamworth are vying for a share in $5000.
Members of the public have until November 27 to submit their votes to help determine who will receive the major funding up for grabs.
