"I'm still incredibly proud of Pink-up Gunnedah Shire with our fundraising efforts and in my eyes everyone is winner," Ms Burns said.
"My campaign wouldn't have been so successful if it wasn't for my my proud sponsors, anyone that helped set up/packed up or contributed their time and efforts, whether that be making cakes, the pig jackets, painting faces, use of their venue and the list goes on.
"I have been so overwhelmed with generosity of this community. I'm truly blessed to be surrounded by amazing family and friends and to live an such a great community."
Fundraising figures for Gunnedah's campaign are still being finalised but coordinator Colleen Fuller said the committee has smashed its goal of $20,000.
Mrs Fuller believes the committee's fundraising total could be one of the highest in the state in the end, "which is unbelievable if we could be up there in drought like we're in".
The coordinator said the campaign raised spirits in the town and buoyed businesses.
"I'm happy that we purchased everything local and local businesses benefited," she said.
"It helped businesses in drought and put a lot of vibe back into the community."
