The concept was launched by former Gunnedah resident Lucy Ravenwood (nee Amos) to bring locals together for a few hours of stress-free social fun.
"Belt Out The Big Dry is a great opportunity to get friends and family together for a bit of a different, low-cost night out, taking a few hours of reprieve from the day-to-day challenges, and catching up with family and friends over some great music," Mrs Ravenwood said.
"Singing together is becoming more widely recognised for its positive impact on our mental health and well-being.
"Our recent event in Gunnedah saw a fantastic crowd with smiles on their faces through the whole night, and that's what Belt out the Big Dry is all about."
- The event will start at 7.30pm, with singing to kick off at 8pm. Pub meals available from 6pm (bookings essential)
- Belt Out The Big Dry is free but those who pre-register will get a free soft drink, beer or house wine
- Pre-register online on Eventbrite, or by texting your name and email address to 0428 421 099.
