The recent Beat out the Drought fundraiser drew farmers and their families from their farms for an afternoon of fashion and live music.
The fundraiser was hosted by the village progress association and Emerald Hill CWA, and was "a great afternoon", association member Jo McCalman said.

Women from the village paraded summer clothing from Hassab's Fashions in Boggabri and musician Sam Snape entertained on his acoustic guitar.
"The atmosphere was fabulous," Mrs McCalman said.
"Sam Snape beat out his tunes while local farming families enjoyed friendships and laughter, a much-needed stress relief from this relentless drought."
They made use of the new covered area, which was funded under the state government's Community Building Partnership Program.
Mrs McCalman said the money that was raised would be used for the village Christmas party in December.
"Santa will arrive in the local brigade's fire truck and once again families will unite in community spirit," she said.
