Under the instruction of director Larni Christie, local actors Joseph Kelly, Jack Jaegar, Grace Norris, Ben Hennessy and Alison Stuart will bring The Narcissist to life in five shows, starting on Friday, October 18.
Mr Kelly, who plays Jesse Jardine in the play, said it was great to have an outlet to encourage "other people around us to be more creative in how they think about things".
"It's great to get an opportunity during the week where you get to meet with like minded adults and do adult things as opposed to being with kids all the time or work. It's another outlet in town and it's great," he said.

Ms Norris, who plays Y'landah Scrivener, said she enjoyed "being part of a wonderful creative community".
"It's so great to be able to bring that to a small town like Gunnedah ... it does widen the horizons," she said.
The Narcissist is described as "a scandalous modern Australian comedy of politically correct manners" and is rated MA15+ due to frequent coarse language and sexual references.
Director Larni Christie said viewers needed to be "fairly broad minded and have a sense of fun".
"It is quite wicked," Ms Christie said.
"A political referendum is about to happen in Queensland, and the playwright Stephen Carleton rewrote parts of the play so it was Liverpool Plains friendly, so we're really grateful for him to that."
The Narcissist will be on The Civic stage on October 18, 19, 24, 25, and 26, and has eight scenes. Each show starts at 7.30pm sharp.
Tickets can be purchased from trybooking.com for $30 per person. A cash bar will also operate from 7pm each night.
