BOGGABRI first grade coach Shane Rampling is expecting a large crowd of Roos members to support the club's women's nines team on Saturday.
Taking part in the first of three competition days at Ken Chillingworth Oval, the Roos have been busy preparing to mix it up with some of the region's best players.
Rampling said he was confident the club would flock to see its side compete.
"We are a really supportive club and I'm sure there will be quite a few of us there," Rampling told the Leader.
"It was a really great day last year and I'm sure this year's competition will be just as good."
The recently reappointed coach said the side was eager to make a big impression on the competition.
"I think all our girls are really keen to get into it," he said. "They're a really tight-knit bunch and stuck together throughout the season.
"I think that closeness will translate over to the games on Saturday as well."
Several of the Roos players took part in last season's competition, an experience Rampling said would be invaluable.
"It will be exciting to watch our team get in and have go," he said.
"I'll be there cheering them on, that's for sure."
