She rang her parents - former residents Wendy and Vince Weakley who now live in Narrabri - and gave them the surprise news.
Renae, her two daughters Allira and Lily Tibbett, and her fiance Jeffrey Chard took a helicopter to Round Hill in Tekapo, beating a snow storm to pledge their vows on Cecil Peak.
They were wed by celebrant Tracey Maclaren and during the ceremony, Renae's daughters read a letter to the pair.
Their wedding photos were taken overlooking the Locky River, with the storm rolling in on the horizon. The party then flew to The Remarkables and the snow started to fall as they arrived.
They embraced the snow fall then flew back to the helicopter hangar to sign the marriage license.
Jeffrey is the son of Rex and Lyn Chard of Glen Innes, and the grandson of Aileen Chard also of Glen Innes.
Renae is the granddaughter of Nita Richards of Gunnedah.
