More than a dozen young people performed on stage in front of about 60 audience members on Thursday night, showing off their skills in a safe space.
Gunnedah Shire Council's youth development officer Ellen Valler said the performers sung, danced, played the keyboard, played the guitar, and performed musical theatre pieces.
"It was quite well supported and it was really good. I think it would be great to do something again," Ms Valler said.
"Because we've done it once, more [young people] might be comfortable to do it plus some were away from the holidays this time."

The co-organiser said some young people initially came along to watch before they decided to get up on stage and perform, too.
"They felt so supported in that environment they wanted to perform," she said.
"Some people that were playing did a couple of numbers, too. It was quite fluid ... if they wanted to do something more they could, there was no time limit."
The event was held as part of Mental Health Month, to raise awareness of youth mental health.
The Youth Art Showcase will be held on October 9 to continue Mental Health Month awareness.
