A Tamworth accountant has joined the growing list of individuals and business people volunteering their services for free or providing them at a discount.
Pinnacle Accounting Solutions director Debra Coulthard made the offer of discounted fees on social media recently, saying it was her specific way of helping people who were struggling.
"So far I've been contacted by a cattle/sheep farmer, horse breeder and a couple of contracting businesses in construction," Ms Coulthard said.

"I am genuine - the reasons are genuine and sincere and for no other reason but to help," Ms Coulthard said.

Ms Coulthard said the fact people could need a hand with accounting fees was "something that not everybody thinks about".
"I know they need food and water and they need hay, but saving on accounting fees could also take a huge chunk out of the budget," she said.
"Things are just getting really, really tough and you see it everywhere ... I thought, is there anything I can do here?" she said.
