Gunnedah's Yvonne Argent is organising a second Knitted Knockers Knitathon to make cotton prosthetics for women who have undergone a single or double mastectomy.
The "knockers" are "quick to make" and can be placed in women's bras post-surgery or long-term. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The knitathon will be held at Oak Tree Retirement Village from 9am-3pm and there are 250 prosthetics to "stuff and stitch". It will be run by the local cancer support group, which meets at Oaktree on the second Thursday of the month at 2pm.
McGrath breast care nurse Neridah Prentice will come along for the day.
Last year's knitathon was hugely successful and a box full of knockers went to patients at the North West Cancer Centre in Tamworth.
"The response that we had for the last one was state-wide. It has been absolutely phenomenal," Ms Argent said.
"The breast care nurses are saying how much everybody is really excited to get them and the fact that they are donated."
Knitters are asked to bring their own lunch and a darning needle.
Donations of polyfill or funds towards the materials are welcome and there will be a pink theme for morning and afternoon tea.
