Year 12 students at Quirindi High School have had their last hurrah, attending the last few events in the lead-up to their HSC exams in October.

The school witnessed the final formal assembly for the 2019 year 12 students on Friday, where each student received their graduate portfolio. Student Joshua Redgrove was also presented with a platinum award.
Students Indiah Nean led the national anthem, and Molly Owen and Thomas Young delivered the acknowledgement to country.
Year 11 SRC member Liam Faulkner took the roll of chair and called the assembly to order, with 2019 captain Angus Nicholls welcoming the visitors.

Year advisor Ian Packer offered a heartfelt and emotive address, Mrs Kathy Redgrove offered a beautiful parent address and Molly Owen, accompanied by Mr Turner on piano and Gemma Hawkins, performed Better Place by Rachel Platten.
Principal Ian Worley offered two moving poems of inspiration and there was a large cheer as the 2020 captains were announced. Jock Barnett and Mia Constable will become the new captains, with Liam Faulkner and Taylah Douglas as vice captains.
Outgoing 2019 captains Angus Nicholls and Bridget Swain offered their words of wisdom to the incoming school representatives and the school body left to from a guard of honour for the 2019 Year 12.
Acknowledging their last official day of school, year 12 students then took a moment to ring the old school bell as their family joined them for final celebrations and afternoon tea provided by the school's P&C.
