"We've got 42 events over eight to nine weeks," committee coordinator Colleen Fuller said on Wednesday.
"It's better than I expected, so much so that McGrath indicated yesterday we've got the most events in the state so far.
"I'm ecstatic about it."
Numerous events have already gone off with a bang, including a golf day on the weekend, which raised $6000. Other events have included line dancing with Footloose Line Dancers, a cocktail night at The Railway Hotel, Gunnedah Motorcycles club day and Pink Up race day at Gunnedah Jockey Club.
"There is money rolling in for this, rolling in for that," Mrs Fuller said.
"I'm overwhelmed. I cannot believe the generosity of people and the businesses.
"We didn't want to ask businesses to be involved but they've been getting on board."
What's On in September
On Saturday, the annual pig races will take off at The Courthouse Hotel from 12pm.
There will be six races over the course of the day and locals can bid on the pigs before they race. If their pig wins, half of the prize pool goes to the bidder and the other half will be donated to Pink Up Your Town.
There will be live music all day, a barbecue and kids' activities including face painting and jumping castles.
On September 28, race-goers can dress up in pink for a gold-coin donation for the Manilla Cup at Gunnedah Jockey Club.
