FOR the second week in a row Feral Franky has wowed spectators at the Gunnedah Greyhound Racing Club.
Last week it was while the Jack Smith-trained dog was winning the regional heat of the TAB Million Dollar Chase.
This week it was when it broke the track record on its way to winning the TAB Million Dollar Chase regional final.
Coming out of the number six box, Feral Franky ran the 527m course in a staggering 29.62 seconds.
The time was an improvement on Feral Franky's previous run in Gunnedah at the same distance, which was 30.2 seconds.
Sunday's win was Feral Franky's 18th career victory and guaranteed a place in the TAB Million Dollar Chase final at Wentworth Park on October 18.
Local hope Come on Duchess was unable to make any headway in the race, eventual finishing in last place. The next heat of the TAB Million Dollar Chase will be held in Bathurst.
