The Gunnedah native will make up part of the six-man under-19 NSW team that will compete in the five-day event, which is part of the Men's Junior Nations Cup.
The latest state honour comes after Eather represented his state at the National Track Championships earlier this year, and acts as the first step in Cycling NSW's under-19 road and track endurance development initiative.

The 2018 Keegan Downes Memorial Cycle Race winner will not be the region's only rider in the team, with Tamworth's Luke Deasey also selected to represent his state.
Eather will have the full support of his family during the tour with his father Vaughn selected as the team's coach.
Both men will have overwhelming support coming from the Gunnedah region with both sets of Kurt's grandparents (Joy and Ray Darcey, and Sue and Chris Eather) still residing in the region.
The Tour de DMZ will run from August 30 through until September 3.
