The chopper airlifted the pair to Tamworth hospital in a stable condition, while the third patient suffered chest and abdominal injuries and was taken by ambulance to the same hospital.
It was just one of a long list of missions for the rescue helicopter that saw the service notch up several hours in the air to Gunnedah, Narrabri and Inverell.
On Saturday, the helicopter was tasked to Narrabri hospital after a 63-year-old man's hand was crushed when a garage door fell on it. He suffered serious injuries and was flown to Tamworth hospital in a stable condition.
Earlier that day, the chopper was tasked to a property at Ghoolendaadi, south west of Gunnedah.
They were called after a man was injured when the jack of the vehicle he was working on collapsed, falling on him.
But en route, the helicopter was called off with the man luckily only suffering minor injuries.
Overnight on Friday, the helicopter team flew to Inverell hospital to transport a 63-year-old woman to Tamworth.
The chopper service said the woman was suffering from a medical condition.
The service said its three helicopters - in Tamworth, Newcastle and Lismore - carried out 12 missions throughout the weekend.
