We have free WiFi or you can book a computer to check out your emails, learn something from YouTube, or type up your resume. Or take part in one of the many programs that the library has on offer, such as Toddler Time for the youngsters, or Brain Games for older people.
Knit and Knatter, Colour and Chatter runs each Saturday from 9.30am until 12.30 am, people who embroider, knit, crochet or do any other fabric work will need to bring their own materials, but the library will provide crayons, colouring pencils and permanent markers, as well as colouring in books and templates. Morning tea is available, booking is not required, and best of all, it's free! Children are also welcome to attend.
Plenty of new books have been added to the library's collection during the last week.
Amongst the new fiction titles are You'll Never See Me Again by Lesley Pearse, "you have to keep running if you want to survive".
You can get a mix of mystery, magic, history and romance with The Blue Rose by Kate Forsyth.
Also on the shelves is the first book in the Eldest curses series The Red Scrolls of Magic by Cassandra Clare and Wesley Chu. Fake by Stephanie Wood which is, "a startling true story of love in a world of liars, cheats, narcissists, fantasists and phonies",
If you own a shop, or work in a shop, and can't make it to the library to borrow one of the books, then ring up and ask to be added to the shop bound library service. You'll just need to fill out an application form, and tell the library staff your reading preferences, and a bag of books will be delivered to your work location every two weeks. Once again, this Shopbound library service is free of charge!
If you prefer to read books on your device, or listen to books, connect with our eResources via the library home page on the net.
