Mums and bubs were out in force, watching the puppet show at LifeQuip, browsing in the shopping arcade, visiting the animal nursery, and enjoying the sunshine
NVI also spotted plenty of school students from Gunnedah and Tamworth collecting freebies, donning straw hats and lining up for homemade gelato.

We spied familiar faces at the CWA shed, Gunnedah Shire Band stand, Gunnedah Rural Museum display, and Oxley District police shed, to name a few.
Gunnedah's whip-cracking Wicks family and the Australian Whipcrackers and Plaiters Association showcased their skills at the NSW Farmers' Association shed.
One of the best moments, though, was meeting a French bull dog named Andy. He was travelling in style with his owners who had travelled from Branxton.
