Every year, members, volunteers and family members run a food and drinks stand to raise vital funds to enable the band to travel around Australia to compete in national and state brass band competitions.
On Tuesday, NVI caught up with band master Laurence Rowe, Paul Herden, and his in-laws Graham and Lorraine Riley who had travelled from Mudgee to lend their support. Their grandson, Mitchell Herden, plays tuba in the band.
They had a busy morning serving up hot food and coffees, and are anticipating more foot traffic on Wednesday.

The coffee machine was a new addition to the band's stand last year, with former band member Tracey Geddes helping them to learn some barista skills ahead of the field days.
The band is packing its bags to head off to Penrith on Friday to compete in B Grade at the NSW State Band Championships over the weekend.
The text selection is proving a challenge this year but Mr Rowe said they were persevering and the other pieces were sounding good.
The band also has the Brilliance of Brass concert marked on its calendar in Tamworth in September.
