Oxley police are asking Gunnedah's business owners with information about stolen US currency to come forward.

Among other items, $200 in US currency was stolen during a break in on Saturday, August 10, which police believe might be used in the shire's shops.
Police reached out via the Oxley Police District Facebook page to urge business owners and other locals to contact them immediately if there were customers attempting to purchase items using the currency.

The Oxley police also reached out on their Facebook page on behalf of Gunnedah police seeking information about a stolen car.
The car was a white Land Rover Discovery with NSW number plates DKP86A, which was stolen between the hours of 9pm on Saturday, August 10, and 6am on Sunday, August 11.
