Quirindi High School's young actors and actresses are putting their game faces on, as they take to the stage for their annual musical, which starts this week.

Students and teachers have been working hard throughout the school holidays and between classes to prepare for the two shows.
This year, the school will showcase Oliver the Musical on the Quirindi Royal Theatre stage, with public performances to be held on Thursday, August 1 and Friday, August 2.

On both nights, the show will start at 7.30pm. Quirindi High School's P&C will also have a scrumptious supper available for purchase during the interval.
Tickets cost $10 per person or $20 for a family and are available for purchase on the door.
The British musical, with music and lyrics by Lionel Bart, is based upon the Oliver Twist novel written by Charles Dickens.
In recent years, Quirindi High School has also delighted audiences with productions of Annie the Musical and the fairytale classic Cinderella.
