There were five flavours to choose from, with thanks to the members who brought them along.
At the meeting, president Fay Byrne welcomed two new members Jean Ketchell and Rosemary Eveleigh.

In the flower competition Esme Gardner placed first, Cheryl Fields placed second and Anne Laird placed third. In the vegetable competition, Marj Hill placed first, Fay Byrne placed second and Ann Penrose placed third. The raffles were won by Sue Walker and Jenny Duncan.
On August 14, members will travel to Quirindi to join the club for its birthday luncheon. Members to leave the pool car park at 8am.
The guest speaker will be horticulturist Sandra Ross who will talk about the power of plants. She is the wife of Graham Ross from Better Homes and Gardens.
A great day is assured with morning tea, luncheon, raffles and plant stalls.
The August meeting and lunch is on the 26th and will be followed by a visit to a garden in Curlewis. The hostess will be Coralie Howe and the raffle donor is Denise Shanley.
