Narrabri mayor Cathy Redding said she hoped the playground could give locals plenty of enjoyment.
"This project provides a much-desired playground facility for the community of Baan Baa and is a great asset to share with visitors passing by," Ms Redding said.
The playground is located in the main meeting area of the village where lots of community events held.
The Stronger Country Communities Fund was established by the NSW government to help deliver local infrastructure projects to regional communities during the drought.
