Iconic Australian radio star Ian 'Macca' McNamara and his Gumboot Band will visit Quirindi's Royal Theatre at 7pm on Thursday, July 25 for 'The Quirindi Rain Dance Concert'.
Attendees can let their hair down and have a good night with no stress of the drought lingering, and can also support Lifeline through the operating bar.

Rotary Club of Quirindi's event coordinator Rob Lewis said the club was extremely grateful to Macca and his band for their generous gesture to the Liverpool Plains community.
"The night will be about good old community fun and all for a great cause. Rotary will supply plates of slice/cake/biscuits on the night for people to have with a cup of tea and the bar will be operating, so come along, join in and assist Lifeline to support members of our community when that support is most sorely needed," Mr Lewis said.
Liverpool Plains mayor Andrew Hope said the event was another shining example of the spirit of community.
"Macca's program Australia all Over epitomises the spirit of Australia and he shares that spirit with communities all over Australia on a weekly basis. Now, he's sharing that spirit with us in person," Cr Hope said.
"In turn, this is allowing Rotary's wonderful team of volunteers to raise funds for Lifeline. We never know when Lifeline may help save the life of someone we care about."
The Rotary Club of Quirindi will also raise funds for Lifeline through a raffle on the night and a bucket for voluntary donations.
250 free tickets will be made available at Quirindi Newsagency on Friday, July 19 and will be offered until they are all gone.
Those who aren't able to make it to the newsagency can call 6746 1132 to have them put aside, but they must be collected by Wednesday, July 24.
