Gunnedah's kids unleashed their creativity when they took on a cartooning workshop on Monday.
Almost 20 children attended the workshop, going through reams of paper and blunting their pencils as they drew to their hearts content.
Tamworth-based cartoonist Danny Stanley gave guidance and inspiration to the youngsters, drawing on a tablet which was then projected onto a large screen for the kids to see.
The kids put feelings onto paper when they drew a variety of facial expressions, including happy, angry, proud, scared, or, in young Connor Punch's art world, a zombie facial expression.
The workshop was held as part of Gunnedah Shire Council's school holiday program. The full program can be found on the council's Facebook page.
