Ms Jamieson is the daughter of Anne and David Jamieson and grew up in Gunnedah. She attended Gunnedah South Public School and Gunnedah High School.
In 2016, she received funds from the Gunnedah Community Scholarship Fund, which provided valuable financial support as she undertook tertiary studies.
Ms Jamieson is in her post-graduate year and has been working as a registered nurse at Gunnedah District Hospital since February.
