Of course the emphasis is on the school holidays, with the library having six events specially for children.
Younger children can enjoy storytelling and a simple handicraft from 10.30am to 11am each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning.
These sessions are free, and no bookings are required.
Older children, from seven to 12 years, can be inventive during Crafty Creations from 3.30pm to 4.30pm on the same days.
They can try their hand at making friendship bracelets, snowflakes that will be used to decorate the library's giant bookworm, dreamcatchers, origami such as penguins or bookmarks and pine cone owls.
There's a charge of three dollars per child for each session for the older children, and bookings are necessary - please ring on 67402190 to secure a place for your child.
Adults haven't been forgotten either! Brain training @ the library takes place each Monday from 10.30am to 11.30am and 3.30pm to 4.30 pm - all are welcome for a fun hour where activities include join the dots, find the objects, word games, memory activities, non-dominant hand use.
The sessions are free, and morning and afternoon tea are included - everyone is welcome to attend!

This week we also have a housebound delivery to people unable to attend the library to change their own books.
If you know of someone who would love to read or listen to books, but can't get to the library, please let us know and they may be able to join our Housebound Library service.
The Family History group also meets at the library this Wednesday from 10.30 to 12.30.
If you're interested in your own history, or the history of the town, come along and like-minded people can help with your research.
Plenty of new books have been added to the shelves this week.
Titles include The Oracle, a thriller by the ever popular Clive Cussler, a Young Adult fiction novel starring Theodore Bone: the accomplice by John Grisham, and The Van Apfel Girls Are Gone, a thriller by Australian author Felicity Mclean.
