Ms Hopkinson pushed through 300km with swollen, blister-ridden feet all in aid of child protection agency Bravehearts.
"It has the most incredible week. I set out with absolutely no expectation of finish times or anything like it but I managed to finish the entire thing, so for me, that is huge," she said.
"I managed to push through pain and got where I needed to get to."

Ms Hopkinson ran alongside 21 national competitors in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Launceston, Sydney, Canberra and the Gold Coast and together they raised $350,000. Bravehearts founders, the Johnstons, were among the runners.
"It made it even more rewarding for me knowing the people, knowing their stories and actually talking to them about their stories," Ms Hopkinson said.
"Getting to know these people has been amazing. They have become my family in the last seven days. They are the most beautiful and inspiring people I've ever met."
But it wasn't as easy as that. By day two, Ms Hopkinson was having problems with her feet, which only got worse as the days rolled on.
"I had massive blisters under one foot and one foot is pretty much double the size," she said.
"My game plan changed a little bit and I did more of a run-walk strategy so I had one of the guys teach me to start pace myself a bit more."
Encouragement over text and social media made an impact and friends and family even ran alongside her to get her through.
"My brother turned up in Adelaide and pretty much walked half the marathon with me ... I had a really good friend, Georgie, who turned up in Melbourne and walked part of it with me and I had my cousin in Canberra who did 38km with me," Ms Hopkinson said.
"It made a huge difference, having people there to support me, to talk to me, to encourage me. I don't know how to put it into words.
"There was no point where I really thought I couldn't get it done. The people I was around were really positive people, and helped me through everything."
On the last day, she sprinted the last 750m to the finish line in the Gold Coast marathon and so far her fundraising total is more than $16,000.
"I'm over the moon. I'm so grateful for everyone who has donated and got behind me with support ... I've had so many messages of support," she said.
"The money we raised will change lives. I'm still very overwhelmed by the fact that it's actually done and I completed it all, but I'm very proud as well."

While Ms Hopkinson was "relieved" that she didn't have to face 42km again on Monday, she had mixed feelings about reaching the end of the journey.
"I've been building up to this for the past 12 months... Everything has been focused on this. It's kind of sad is over," she said.
"This week has been the most incredible week with the most incredible people. I'd definitely do it again. Maybe not the full seven."
