The home side got their day off to a winning start recording a 22-10 victory.

However, it was a different story when the two sides met for the second time for the afternoon.
Peta Lawrence and Kathleen O'Donnell scored in the 10-15 loss, while a pair of tries from Lauren Nott saw the Highlanders even the ledger.
Despite the loss, the Red Devils still sit atop the Central North women's sevens ladder 15 points clear of Pirates in second and 16 points clear of Narrabri in third, while the Highlanders hang onto fourth position.
Meanwhile, the Quirindi Lionesses suffered a matching-pair of 14-0 losses at the hands of the Moree Bulls.
The victories see the Bulls drawn within three points of the fifth-placed Lionesses on the ladder.
The Red Devils will now turn their attention to their round 13 clash with Pirates at Ken Chillingworth Oval.
