Curlewis Library hasn't been forgotten either, and there'll be a program there for children each Monday afternoon from 1.30pm until 3pm.
Lots of lovely winter reading books have been added to the collection this last week.
Among the new titles are The Spanish Promise by Karen Swan - digging into a family's history "unearths a dark and shocking past in which two people were torn apart by conflict".
The book is described as "smart plots, brilliant characters and juicy romance". What more is needed for a cold winter's day?
There's also Kelly Rimmer's The Things we Cannot Say.
Described as being excellent for Jodi Picoult fans, the book switches between World War II and 2019 when a grandmother's "hidden box of mementos reveals..." Borrow the book and find out!
The Woman from Saint Germain by J. R. Lonie tells the story of "two strangers from different worlds - only war could bring them together". The novel is set in Europe during 1941, as two people attempt to escape from the Nazi threat.
Other books include The Mortgage Stress Handbook: A practical guide for people having trouble with their mortgage, a Legal Aid publication, and Taking Charge of Diabetes: Recipes, menu plans & menus to get you back on track, edited by Wendy Bryant, which includes easy-to-follow recipes with mouthwatering photos.
For beginning readers, there's Noah's Ark, a picture book retold by Catherine Allison, Little Grey's Birthday Surprise by Karl Newson, and Things That Go, a First Words board book, a rhyming book with lots of new words on each page.
See you soon at the library.
