A Gunnedah family are once again rallying to raise funds for beyond blue in memory of the late Maddie Smith.

Each year, Barry, Vicki and Gabby Smith honour Maddie's memory on what would have been her 25th birthday, hosting Maddie's Big beyondblue Bash in the Woolworths car park. Maddie lost her battle with depression in March 2016.
The event will kick off at 8am on Friday, July 19, with a cake stall, raffle, 100 Club, and sausage sizzle.

"[Our goal is] to raise as much money as possible for an important cause so close to our hearts Beyond Blue. We would greatly appreciate if you come on down and support this fundraiser," the Smith family said.
In 2018, $8700 was raised through donations, the barbecue and a head shave bravely taken on by Woolworths' Chanelle Callaghan.
"The support we received last year from the community was overwhelming and this year numerous business houses have kindly donated prizes for our raffles," the family said.
Raffle Tickets and 100 club tickets will be available for purchase in the lead-up to the event and on the day.
