The history-making side - playing their debut season - beat the Highlanders 15-12. It was their third win of the season.

The win came after a 20- 5 loss to Inverell in the opening match of a Saturday double-header.
In that clash, the sixth-placed Lions had led 5-0 at halftime.
Third-placed Inverell are a skilled and structured team who have been in the competition several years.

They played to their typical high standard - making the Lion's win even sweeter.
"Last week's games against Narrabri were tough but confidence-boosting," Rees said.
"And today [Saturday] the team proved they know how to play football and structure themselves on the field."
Second-placed Narrabri beat them 17-7 and 34-0.
A great day for Quirindi was capped off by their first-grade side picking up their first win of the season 23-20.
The Lions host Pirates on Saturday.
Pirates and Quirindi's women have met twice this season, with the fourth-placed Tamworth side winning 54-0 and 38-0 in round one.
