Gunnedah Public School students rugged up in their flannelette pyjamas, slippers and dressing gowns for PJ Day recently and also visited Peel Valley Dairy in Tamworth to learn about milk production.
On the excursion to the dairy, the kindergarten and Year 1 students had the opportunity to learn about the milking machines, and saw the cows being led over to the machines.

The school's KH class has also been working very hard on their reading and writing skills this term.
Over at Carinya Christian School, students hit the court to learn tennis skills. Kindergarten to Year 6 students have been enjoying tennis practice as part of their physical education.
The school received some funding through the Sporting Schools program, which helped pay for the lessons. Mr Craig Louis visited the school to teach the staff and students their new tennis skills.
