An NRMA spokesperson said this was the cheapest price compared to other petrol stations around the region on Tuesday.
"It's great for Gunnedah motorists or North West motorists travelling through Gunnedah by saving at least 10c a litre, so it's worth pulling in," they said.
"If people can make small savings at the bowser, it can make quite a financial difference at the end of the year and to the budget."
In the myNRMA app, other service stations in Gunnedah are sitting at 145.9c per litre, and some in Tamworth at 147c per litre.
"We want people to be aware of these cheap service stations so that's where they fill up. We don't want people handing over their hard-earned cash when they don't need to," the NRMA spokesperson said.
They said all the prices on the app were live updates, so you can "know before you get in the car where you can make that saving".
