He was born at 9.25pm at Tamworth hospital, weighing four pounds and eight ounces and measuring 44cm in length.

Ashton is a baby brother for nine-year-old Ethan, seven-year-old Harrison and five-year-old Valerie.

He is a grandson for Coral Rees of Darwin, Northern Territory, and Darren Garfoot of Geelong, Victoria.
