The group's committee president Maryellen Scanlon said the event would "ensure that we can continue to help these beautiful children reach their full potential".
"It is essential that we continue to help our schools purchase resources that can help children with special needs," Mrs Scanlon said.
"This extra funding ensures that children that need that additional help can attend our mainstream schools and benefit from support from the incredible teachers here locally."
Resources could include books, computer software, physical activity equipment, and more.
Tickets for the event cost $75, with all proceeds supporting those with special needs.
This price includes a three-course meal and live music from local band Heartland. There will also be a bar operating, and raffle prizes to be won.
Friends of Children with Special Needs Quirindi Group organise a fundraising event every two years, and have raised thousands of dollars for schools in the Liverpool Plains region to assist in the purchase of resources to help children with disabilities.
"We have seen the wonderful learning opportunities that have been given to children with special needs through our financial assistance and how children have really blossomed through this extra support," Mrs Scanlon said.
'We are hoping to raise lots of money this year so we can continue to help all the wonderful children in our schools that just need that little bit of extra help."
Tickets can be purchased from Goodness and Gracious in Quirindi, or by contacting Mrs Scanlon on 0407 456 400.
