Daniel Wicks came first in both the mens and bullock sections, and is now 18-time Australian champion in whipcracking, 10-time Australian bullock whip champion, and six-time world bullock whip champion.

His father Steve took out third in the mens section, and second in the bullock whip section, and his mother Narrelle took out sixth place in the ladies section of the festival's whipcracking competitions.
Steve, who is president of the Australian Whipcrackers and Plaiters Association, said whipcracking was "a unique sport and is a [homage] to our Australian stockmen".
"We're trying to uphold our Australian culture which is the stockwhip, which pioneered our country in settlement years," Mr Wicks said.
"[Whipcracking is] one of the hardest sports to do in the world; there's only a few people in the world who can do what top competitors do ... It uses every muscle in your arm."
