In the carcase results, the led steers gained first place and the title of Lightweight Champion Carcase with 93.58 points, second place with 93.91 points, third place with 92.90 points, fourth place with 93.42 points and fifth place with 92.18 points.
A Wallawong-sired carcase bred by Kyle and Robin Thomas, and exhibited by Taree High School, won first place and was named Champion Light Middleweight Carcase with 94.59 points.
'Carcase scores of this magnitude and consistency have not been seen in any carcase competition around the country," Wallawong's Lachlan James said.
"To average 93.43 points across six carcases, sired by six different bulls all from the one herd, is unprecedented.
"It really gives us faith in our breeding program and shows how well the cattle perform in our clients' herds."
In the unled competition, three Wallawong-sired exhibits were awarded three firsts, three divisional championships (lightweight, light middleweight and heavyweight), and the Supreme Unled Steer title. The carcases gained first, second and fifth placings, averaging out at 90.81 points.
Wallawong also took out three of the Jackpot carcase divisions.
Mr James said the overall results at Wingham Beef Week were among Wallawong's "greatest achievements".
"To achieve [these results] in conjunction with clients, who have purchased the bulls from us throughout the years, is tremendously satisfying," he said.
More results to come on St Mary's College and Quirindi High School's beef week exhibits.
